- 断案洗冤是剧情的重点，同时也把中国官场的特色表现的是淋漓尽致；剧中作恶之人虽然可恨，但更有看点的是那些善良的围观群众。虽说比较注重细节但剧集还是给人拖沓的感觉，在细枝末节上浪费了太多时间。
- 与早年看的香港版的爱情风趣路线不同，内地走的仍是一派严肃的正剧路线，何冰里面演得很出色，剧情节奏方面把握得都很好，结局有首尾呼应的意思，让人感到强烈的宿命感
