- 能把主旋律拍的好评如潮，主要是因为真实，没有假大空，足够接地气，我们仿佛也成了涌泉村村民。曾经看过一句评论，我们的民族有很多伟大的人和事迹，只是把这些如实拍出来就足够震撼和感动。
- 有泪点有笑点，没有刻意“政治正确”，郭京飞没否认到西海固是为了政绩仕途，莆田厂长隐晦表示吸纳“又傻又笨”的西海固劳动力是有利益相关。温情向上，又没有过份假大空，唱高调。
