    A cinematic parable that takes place in two time zones. A Jewish couple - on the run from the Nazis in 1938 - suddenly find themselves in a desolate world where history and memory have been outlawed. Their struggle is to preserve their love and their culture in this strange and anonymous place - by invoking the terrifying power of memory....
