- 央视版四大名著中制作水准最高的一部，多年之后重温，依然感觉荡气回肠，欲罢不能。全剧最突出的是影像和美术风格，很好地还原了古代农耕社会的环境背景，比现在那些塑料质感的古装剧好太多了。选角与人物贴合度很高，对宋江的刻画最为入骨，李雪健也诠释得很到位。袁家班的动作设计古朴流畅，尤其是征方腊一段，是古代战争场面与武打戏结合的经典，如果拍三国演义的时候能请到他们，武戏就没那么尴尬了。
