- 许三多，很简单的人物，很多话却至深至理，所以，很多一开始讨厌他的人，最后都成为了他的朋友，譬如，伍六一，为他的执着，为他待人的那份真挚所感动。高城，看着许三多一路成长，看到成长后的他，最后也为他折服，袁朗从一最开始，就发现了许三多身上的闪光点，也从一开始就认为他是一个可塑之才，果然是站得高，才会看得更远
- 康洪雷导演认为创作最重要的是“愤怒感”，比起故事性，人物更重要。随口能背一段鲁迅，口语描述也很动人，为电视剧做田野调查路过远征军的坟，形容松涛在哀鸣。虽然很擅长男性题材却希望有一天拍女性视角的戏。感觉他片场一定骂人超凶，我小时候还挺爱看《激情燃烧的岁月》的。作为不为大众感兴趣的、专注军旅题材的导演，康洪雷演讲给人的惊喜特别多。
