- 虽然还是有一些缺点，如中间的家庭戏比较拖沓和俗套，人物关系设置有太多巧合，结尾的和解过于理想化，但在批判现实的深度和广度上还是达到很高的水平。关于司法人权、媒体良知、网络暴力、精神病患生存等方面的展现和探讨都非常深入，保留了台剧在锐化人物矛盾和戏剧冲突上的传统，表演也可圈可点。了不起，配得上HBO的角标，媒体部分的戏份可以当台湾版的《新闻编辑室》来看。
- 全篇都在让罪犯家属卖惨。最可笑的是让受害者家属和罪犯家属直接当面PK。律师一直强调要找寻原因。找得到吗？确定有吗？事实证明最后也没有找出来。死刑震慑了多少罪犯？废死的人是真圣母，最后一集强行大和解。突然降智。不谈立场。就一部电视剧而言也不合格。
