- In 1971 Jiaunguo's grandparents meet for the first time thanks to a ball of red yarn. Some 20 years later, Jiaunguo and Xue as toddlers meet the same way. As they grow up, China does as well, modernizing at a rapid pace. - 真诚之作。遗憾的是出于形式原因剧里对女主的塑造留白过多，以至于她的人物底色主要还是和爱情挂钩，但她作为政治家的一面、她运筹帷幄翻云覆雨的力量感却体现不足（不过小成本剧也不期待什么权谋了），有大女主的皮，缺少大女主的视角和塑造...

- 而剧中对于逆向时空的呈现方式也很用心，逐渐加深的服装颜色，不断呼应的剧情细节，13集的片尾字幕倒放真的好绝。
- 女主很好。但是整个剧情，看完之后我无动于衷。没能品味出这份感情，也对故事的编排没有触动。
