On April 30, 1803, President Thomas Jefferson facilitated one of the greatest "real-estate deals" in American history when he purchased from France 800,000 sq. miles west of the Mississippi River. Produced by The History Channel, this documentary reveals the origins, controversies, and lasting historical implications of the Louisiana Purchase....
