- 服化道精致考究，暗蓝大红隐泛哑光，色调古意，意蕴苍凉；构图工整用心，景深见心思，墨彩显风流；比起前作（旧人旧事勾泪点）的“进”，这集更彰显“退”，虽剧本略瑕疵、人物不讨喜，但胜在放弃求全贪进，与长林一般始终保持淡然心，清醒认识人世，策马逍遥江湖绝美；被刘昊然彻底圈粉，未来可期。
- 这仍然是2017年中国制作水准最高的古装剧，庄重沉稳，井然有序，底蕴悲凉，依旧延续品牌效应，不过较之上一部缺少些许王者气象。至少在两年之内，古装类型越来越难变现。
