- 这部电视剧没有脑残的爱情梗，两对男女主人公都为了爱敢于去追求并且与恶人斗志斗勇，满满童年回忆，那个时候的电视剧真好看
- 非常传统的中国喜剧，无巧不成书，皆大欢喜的结局。正如所有喜剧一样，其悲剧内核在第一集就表现出来了，那就是古代女子结婚往往都没有选择的权利。剧中两个女主角一个嫁给病秧子，一个嫁给克妻的大龄鳏夫，二人都是因为家庭面临困难，或为金钱所惑或被权势压迫，总之这种身不由己真是溢于言表。而且现在的电视剧真的缺乏有趣的小旦，剧中的小喜如《西厢记》里的红娘，娇俏机敏，穿针引线，可谓是重要的线索人物。
