- As audiences prepare to next see Black as Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the actor has offered a funny and somewhat cryptic update on the status of School of Rock 2. In a recent interview on SiriusXM with Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass, Black jokes that sequels to School of Rock and Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny are both in the works.
